About
New tech. Old soul.
A software and security studio in Nairobi. Built for African businesses that expect their tools to actually work.
Studio note
Small enough to answer the phone.
Blinx is a small studio. That's on purpose. Fewer people means fewer things get lost in translation. The person who scopes your project is the person who writes the code and the person who calls you when something needs deciding.
We work from Nairobi with clients across East Africa and further. Software and security in one shop, because most businesses need both, and most agencies do only one.
How we work
Observe. Isolate. Execute.
Observe
We start by watching. What the business actually does, how people actually use it, where the friction and the risk really sit. No assumptions dressed up as strategy.
Isolate
We separate the signal from the noise. What matters, what to build first, what to leave out. A tighter scope always beats a longer one.
Execute
We ship. Software that holds up in production, security that holds up under a real look. Then we hand it over with the docs a human can actually read.
Principles
What we hold on to.
Small scopes win.
Bigger scopes take longer, cost more, and ship less. We push back on scope creep so you don't have to.
The client owns everything.
Code, keys, credentials, credit. Nothing sits on our machines that shouldn't.
Security is not a phase.
We build it into the software from the first commit. It's cheaper there than bolted on at the end.
